NDIS Maintenance Worker

Join Class Professionals as a Relief Maintenance Worker and assist NDIS participants with essential home upkeep tasks. This role is ideal for skilled handypersons who are passionate about safety, dignity, and independence for people with disabilities.

You’ll work across a variety of homes throughout Perth, carrying out basic maintenance jobs that help individuals live comfortably and confidently in their own spaces.


RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO)


  • Carry out basic home maintenance tasks such as repairing doors, taps, small fixtures, and safety modifications
  • Ensure homes are maintained to a safe and functional standard
  • Work autonomously while adhering to participant-specific instructions
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with NDIS participants and support coordinators
  • Follow safety and infection control protocols during all visits
  • Be responsive to relief job offers and manage your own availability

REQUIREMENTS


  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Own tools, materials, and reliable transport
  • Demonstrated experience in general maintenance, carpentry, or property repair
  • An understanding of accessibility needs and client sensitivity is preferred

This is a casual, on-call position. Flexibility in your schedule is required, including occasional weekend work.
