As a Gardener, you will be responsible for the upkeep and beautification of our partner early year centres, schools, and aged care settings. You will be required to maintain gardens and lawns, prune trees and shrubs, apply fertilisers and pesticides, and maintain garden tools and equipment. You will work independently and as part of a team, and will be expected to provide a high level of customer service to our partners.
REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate III in Horticulture or Landscape Construction
- Chemical Users Accreditation
- Chainsaw Operator's Certificate
- Minimum of 2 years experience in gardening and landscaping
- Knowledge of plants, trees, and shrubs commonly found in the region
- Ability to use gardening tools and equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills
- National Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check (if working in schools or early year centres)
- Driver's license and reliable transportation
RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO)
