We are looking for  Centre Directors who are passionate about providing high-quality care and education to children. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre, leading and supervising a team of educators, and ensuring that the centre meets all regulatory requirements and standards. You will also be responsible for building positive relationships with families and the wider community, and for promoting the centre's philosophy and values.


REQUIREMENTS


  • Early Childhood Teaching degree
  • Supervising Officer Certificate
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Coordinated Criminal History Check
  • Mandatory Reporting
  • First Aid HLTAID012
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is advantageous (which can be obtained online at a later date)
  • Experience in a leadership role within an early childhood setting
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team
  • Sound knowledge of financial management and budgeting
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of child protection legislation and practices
  • Ability to work effectively with families and the wider community.

RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO)


  • Lead and supervise a team of educators
  • Ensure that the centre meets all regulatory requirements and standards
  • Build positive relationships with families and the wider community
  • Promote the centre's philosophy and values
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Manage the centre's finances, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Plan and coordinate staff training and professional development
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of educational programs for children
  • Ensure that the centre's facilities and resources are well-maintained
  • Provide guidance and support to families and staff as needed
  • Manage administrative tasks, including record-keeping and reporting
