We're seeking talented and passionate Food Services Assistants to join our team and become an integral part of Class Professionals' continued growth and diversification in 2022!
What you'll be doing…
We partner with Aged Care providers that require experienced and committed Food Services Assistants to provide relief support to their teams of professionals; dedicated to enhancing the daily lives of their residents.
With partners located throughout the Perth metropolitan region, we can tailor your employment experience to suit your personal situation. Available shifts include full-day, half-day, lunch cover, and split shifts.
As one of our Food Services Assistants, you will work with our Aged Care partners by assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals for their residents.
In particular you will a good understanding of food safety and dietary requirements that will have a positive impact on the wellbeing of residents, as well as building empathic and compassionate relationships with residents, their families, and other staff.
To be successful...
You will possess a Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) and have a minimum of twelve month's experience in a similar role. You will also demonstrate good organisational and time management skills, and be able to work independently and within a team environment.
You will also have:
- certification in Food Safety or Food Handling practices certificate (HLTFSE001 preferred)
- National Police Clearance (obtained within last six months)
- evidence of current influenza and COVID vaccinations
- current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificate (or be willing to obtain)
- evidence of having completed Infection Prevention Control and Manual Handling in Residential Aged Care training
