ACECQA has launched a great new website called Starting Blocks, which has been created to help families understand what childcare is all about and to give tips and ideas on how to interact positively with their children. The developmental domains for children from 0-5 years old are in the link below. Although this is aimed at families, we think it is a great way to refresh and update your knowledge base.
It’s good to remember that as part of the team in any childcare centre you may be asked to write a learning story about a child or group of children. If you need some inspiration or ideas on Learning Stories, check out this website – it’s a great starting point!
